What an incredible year for HyperVision. From all us on the team, thank you!
Another year filled with huge talent from all across WA. We celebrated some of the best youth artists in the state and filled Midland Junction Art centre with some amazing pieces.
Congrats to Jin Choi who was announced as the overall winner of HyperVision 2025 for her exquisite work, Breaking Point: Please Never Let Me Leave This Place.

A youth led arts program of large and small scale events and activities, the Hyper Series consists of:
Hyper - annual large scale music festival in Midland, WA.
HyperVision -annual visual art exhibition and competition also in Midland.
Hyper Miniseries - Smaller scale music events in the City of Swan.
It’s the only major scale youth led program of its kind in Western Australia, and HyperFest is the largest all ages (12+), drug, smoke and alcohol free music festival in the state.
A City of Swan initiative, the series is organised by a group of young volunteers.

The Hyper Series exists to support youth development through music and other contemporary arts events.

For young people to have access to music and other contemporary arts experiences held in the City of Swan.

Engage and involve a diverse group of young people from a range of communities
Increase the skills, opportunities and capacity of young people to be involved in culture and arts
Be 'youth-led' — provide a forum for youth leadership and mentoring
Create ongoing collaboration between young people and other networks —including city, community, business and arts organisations
Be a major celebration of youth culture that is owned, planned and run by young people
