 Over the past year, Pot Plant House Party have gathered a repertoire of original songs and popular covers often played live at the YMCA HQ. The band are aiming to record and release their debut single later this year and release an EP the middle of next year.

Why Even Try are an up and coming pop punk band hailing from the Northern suburbs of Perth, Western Australia. With a 3 track demo and various live performances under their belt the band have been making waves in the Perth all ages music scene since mid-2015. Why Even Try take influence from some of the popular melodic pop punk, punk rock and emo bands of the early 2000s such as Blink-182 and Brand New mixed in with some of the more current pop punk bands like Neck Deep and The Story So Far. The band are known for their energetic live performances and melodic style and are one of the most promising pop punk acts of the scene. At the start of 2017 Why Even Try will be back in the studio to record some tracks in preparation of their upcoming EP.

Five piece melodic hardcore outfit Vacant Home combine strong melodies with raw, emotive vocals to deliver a catchy and energetic sound.

Since releasing their first song Shiver in October, Vacant Home have played with national heavyweights Saviour and Void of Vision while receiving airtime on Triple J and show no signs of slowing down in 2017.

Based out of Perth, Australia 'Available At The Counter' are taking the punk scene by storm with their new flavour hard hitting pop punk. Growing up in the country town of Albany, the pairs of brothers formed the band in their later years of high school. The release of their debut album "Hello Reality" in 2015 was followed by regular shows across the state and metropolitan area which opened an opportunity to play an interstate weekender at the beginning of 2016.Stepping back from the spotlight Available At The Counter began writing their 2nd studio album set to be released in 2017. The first single titled "Not What I Ordered" from their upcoming record was released in September 2016 as a music video and is also available on Bandcamp. Get ready to see what the Available boys have put together, you're going to want to get on this one early.

Mixed Signals are a young Australian indie-rock band that formed around mid-2014. They are situated in Perth and play frequent gigs. With members consisting of, Daryl Wright on lead vocals and bass guitar, Sam Mangione on rythmic guitar and backing vocals, Billy Simmonds on lead guitar and Jazz Sharp on drums. The boys have just released their first single "Insomnia" which was recently launched at HQ Leederville. Mixed Signals strive for original and groovy tunes with their set lists generally consisting only original songs.
