Being Green and Inclusive

Hyper is an environmentally friendly organisation with a strong focus on sustainability at the event. Initiatives introduced to reduce HyperFest's footprint include biodegradable cups on the day, heaps of ‘binsketball’ hoops to shoot your recycled rubbish through and constant reminders to put your rubbish in the bin & recycle!

In fact the event is so close to the Train Station we encourage EVERYONE to catch the train and walk.

Another huge focus of Hyper is inclusiveness, this means we strive to include EVERYONE we can in the Festival and lead up projects. A foucs of Hyper is on culturally and linguistically diverse young people as well as the disadvantaged and those with disabilities. Hyper regualrly runs arts, music and dance workshops all over the City of Swan with a focus on including these young people so they too have the opportunity to get involved.
