MC, Dance, Skate & Scooter Competitions!
The bands aren’t the only live entertainment at HyperFest! Our competitions showcase local talent and are guaranteed to make you gasp, cheer and laugh.
If you’re keen to bust a move our dance comp will present a battle of the crumpers, poppers and shufflers, and check out the clash of rappers, singers and beatboxers at the MC Open Mic Comp!
If that doesn’t satisfy your hunger for entertainment, feast your eyes on some amazing aerial manoeuvres, tricks, flips at our skate competition.

Silent Disco DJ Callout!
For those up and coming DJs waiting for that big break...do we have a competition for you!
We are after a selection of local DJs to play a 45 minute set at Hyperfest’s first ever Silent Disco! Whatever your style...electro, house, D&B, dubstep, or even party classics, we could be interested in showcasing your talents!
To register your interest for this unique opportunity, complete the submission form (attached below) along with a short demo of your DJ talents by Friday August 19th 2011. The winners will be announced and notified by Monday 22nd August.
PLEASE NOTE: Due to the nature of the event, and limited funding, these sets are voluntary and we are therefore unable to offer a paid set.
