FAQs
Is Hyper just the HyperFest?
No way! HyperFest is our major all-ages music and arts Festival and whilst heaps of preparation and effort goes towards the Festival each year, it is not all tthat Hyper does. There’s heaps of information in the ‘Projects’ Section of the website which talks all about the different workshops, projects and forums we run which feed into Hyper Vision and Hyper Festival showcasing the talents of our young crew and participants. Plus check out Hyper Vision our Major Art Exhibition running at Midland Gate Market Centre in the lead up to the festival.
How often has HyperFest been run?
HyperFest is an annual, all-ages music festival. Whilst we endeavour to make it annual, previous years have seen some hiccups, however the growth achieved by the dedicated Hyper team has ensured the event looks set to run bigger and better each and every year.
When is HyperFest?
HyperFest happens traditionally in late winter / early spring, offering an alternative to the busy summer festival season, however in an effort to provide the best event possible dates may vary.
What’s Hyper all about?
Hyper is a program run by the City of Swan with volunteers to develop the skills and opportunities for young people in the City of Swan and surrounding areas. Hyper runs a variety of programs to ensure everyone’s needs and interests are catered for, with a specific focus on the arts including visual art, urban art, music, dance, performance and more!
